DESTINATIONS

• Improved deformable, single-component, multi-purpose C2 S1 ET adhesive mortar intended for laying ceramic coverings with reduced porosity and very large formats (up to 10,000 cm²), on interior/exterior walls and floors. New and renovation.
• Allows the application of ceramic and natural stone coverings on deformable substrates, electric radiant floors (PRE), heated floors with hot water or by accumulation, reversible floors with low temperature water, floors on crawl spaces, floors on unheated premises, intermediate floors , terraces, balconies, facade up to 28 m high, walls of very humid premises (ponds and swimming pools).

IMPLEMENTATION

Substrate preparation

• Refer to the CPT and DTU 52.2 in force. New substrates must be clean, dry, sound, solid, flat, free of grease, laitance, traces of plaster, etc. They must be:
  • 1 month for concrete slabs
  • 2 months for concrete walls and floors
  • 15 days for cement screeds
  • 48 hours for indoor cementitious coatings
  • 3 weeks for exterior cement coatings
• The heated floors will be tested and stopped for 48 hours before the implementation of the tiles.
• On calcium sulphate screed, apply our primer PRIMASOL R at saturation.
• Renovation substrates will be prepared in accordance with the renovation CPT in force.
• On wooden support (panels or old mosaic parquet), apply our primer PRIMABOIS in a dry place or E 100 XP in a damp room.
• On old tiling, proceed with sanding and dust removal before direct bonding with MC 300 Flex
• On old semi-flexible slabs, strip and rinse then apply our primer PRIMASOL R before laying tiles with MC 300 Flex .

Preparation of the mixture

• Pour into a clean bucket 6.0 l to 6.5 l of water per 25 kg bag.
• Introduce the powder into the water and mix with an electric mixer equipped with a suitable whisk until a smooth and homogeneous paste is obtained.
• Leave to stand for a few minutes, then remix before application

Application

• Spread the mortar-adhesive on the support with the smooth side of the spatula then adjust the thickness of the furrows with the notched side.
• For laying by double gluing, apply a smooth and continuous layer to the back of the tiles before posting on the grooves of glue on the floor.
• Do not apply too much surface and beat the tiles well in order to obtain an optimal transfer.
• Eliminate residues of MC 300 Flex on the tiles or between the joints with a damp sponge as the installation progresses.
• After drying the MC 300 Flex (24 hours minimum), grouting will be carried out with one of the following products:
  • J 100 End Seal (width from 1 to 6 mm)
  • J 125 Wide Gasket (width from 3 to 20 mm)
  • J 150 Gasket Rustic (width from 5 to 80 mm)
  • J 175 Joint Flex (width from 2 to 15 mm)
  • J 200 HRC seal (width from 2 to 15 mm)
  • J 300 Epocolor (width from 2 to 15 mm)
